Patent and Trademark Agent
Juan Carlos Ojam has a recognized trajectory in prosecution, litigation and general advice on all intellectual property matters, such as trademarks, patents, industrial models and designs, unfair competition, advertising, internet and copyright law.
Mr. Ojam led the Intellectual Property practice at Mitrani Caballero Ojam & Ruiz Moreno. Previously, he was a partner at Bruchou, Fernández Madero, Lombardi & Mitrani (2001-2007), and an associate with Clarke Modet & Co. (1989-2000). He was appointed as arbitrator of the Arbitration and Mediation Center of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO).
He is a foreign professor at the Magister Lucentinus of the University of Alicante, Spain, part-time professor in the Master on Business and Economy Law at the Universidad Católica Argentina (UCA), part-time professor in Patent and Trademarks at the Universidad Argentina de la Empresa (UADE) and coordinator and professor of the post-graduate course in Intellectual Property at the Escuela de Abogacía de Buenos Aires (EABA).
Mr. Ojam has been repeatedly recommended as one of the “Leaders in their Field” (Intellectual Property-Argentina) by Chambers Latin America. Additionally, he has received the Client Choice Award 2012 for Intellectual Property Argentina, granted by the International Law Office (ILO).
